Late Night Craft Party: The S'mores Summer (with a Stroopwafel Italian Meringue S'mores!!)

It's time for S'mores Summer and this late night craft party will get you and those marshmallows lit, having some flamin' craft fun!  Preparing for rain or shine, you'll be able to s'mores roast all the time with 3 projects, a campy cocktail, and a bonus craft as time allows.

In Late Night Craft Party fashion you'll make 3 (quite possibly 4) projects after you learn some hot tips on the featured drink you'll get to enjoy with Luna.  Your projects include:

*Tabletop "Bonfire" - using concrete and some household molds you'll mix up and pour the perfect lil tabletop s'mores-ready-to-roast "bonfire".  This will take part of the party time to set and cure and be ready for a patio s'mores sesh or rainy day s'mores needs.  Once it's set you'll pop it out, sand it a tish, and take home!  Sterno can included!

*Stroopwafel S'mores with Italian Meringue - you'll enjoy a demo by Chef John of creating the meringe and learn the tips.  Then you'll pipe it onto a Stroopwafel and torch it. You'll use Ghiradelli chocolate squares to melt and add the other Stroopwafel!  I can't believe this is a real description that we get to enjoy IRL.  

*Firestarters - using soy wax, cotton wick, essential oils (if you'd like!), muffin papers, and nature (pinecones!  cinnamon sticks!) you'll pour 3 firestarters that you customize to light up your next campfire.

*Bonus craft:  if time allows you'll additionally customize 1-2 handles of your included metal fondue sticks that pair perfectly with your new tabletop bonfire.  Using polymer clay you can create a marbled look, pop 'em in our toaster oven, and have the cutest tabletop s'mores roasting sticks!  Otherwise you'll just get to take them home as is either way to get those marshmallows lit.

Unglued Late Night Craft Parties kick off with a mixology moment + you enjoying the featured cocktail and then we craft!  You'll rotate around to our 3 different project stations for about 30-45 minutes each to craft it up and make all the things.  This one will be a bit more leisurely for you to spend more time at or return to stations you want to keep crafting up more with.

This workshop is Thurs, May 23 7pm at the Unglued Craftatorium at Brewhalla - 1702 1st Ave N, Fargo, ND 58102 (attached to Drekker Brewing - you'll find this workshop room on Brewhalla's 2nd floor!).  Ages 18+.  Each attendee must be a ticket holder.

Your registration includes:  supplies and instruction to create 3 projects including the dessert with the bonus of whipping up polymer clay handles for your tabletop s'mores roasters (or just take those home as is!) plus a featured cocktail by Luna!

Refund policy:  We know plans can change!  If you need to change plans please email us at ungluedcraftfest@gmail.com at least 72 hours prior to workshop start to receive a full refund.  After that we don't give refunds as supplies are already purchased unless if we are able to utilize a wait list based on demand, but you can transfer it to another person!

Please note a minimum of 15 participants is required so if we don't reach that by 24 hours prior to the event you will be notified by email and refunded.
